ITG Announces Windows 8 Powered XPPhone 2

ITG Announces Windows 8 Powered XPPhone 2,Yes,you read it right, that�s not a spelling mistake and its not Windows XPPhone 8 or the Apollo we are talking about here,we are talking about the Windows 8 the upcoming version of Windows operating system which will run on the desktops and the laptops as well as the tablets around the world by the next year.

Now as reported earlier by Engadget ITG now is prepping their successor to the xpPhone which runs on the Windows XP operating system the xpPhone 2 and the phone will be running Windows 7 and will later on add Windows 8 as well to it as a prime Operating System for the phone with features like 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 chip, along with 2GB RAM, up to 112GB of SSD storage, 4.3-inch display with an improved battery life of 18 hours talktime and standby time of 46 days.

The phone will hit the stores in the month of January 2012 so the availability of the Windows 8 running on it would depend on the Windows 8 final release later that year.
